The course has been offered throughout the country by invitation from sponsoring agencies. The course outline has been reviewed and approved by Peace Officers Standards and Training in ten states: Idaho, Washington, Connecticut, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Florida, and California. It has additionally been offered in Colorado.

- International Association for Identification has approved of this course for meeting the requirements for Level I Certified Composite Artist.

- It has been offered and is the core training on Law Enforcement Television Network.

- The FBI sponsored a course for their Special Projects Section.

- The Secret Service trains their artists at this class.

- These classes have been offered by the Institute for Police Technology and Management, University of North Florida, the largest trainers of Law Enforcement in the Nation.

Benefit:
This is the only course of training in forensic and composite art that has been so widely accepted and approved.

Classes and Participants:
The forensic training offered by Stuart Parks Forensic Consultants have been offered more often and have had more participants than all other training in this field combined.

Benefit:
This training is refined and updated constantly to keep current. The instructors are highly experienced in training and the teaching materials are extensive.

Course Offerings
The forensic training offered by Stuart Parks Forensic Consultants has been divided into a series of five 40-hour training sessions. Each 40-hour training session builds on the training given in the Composite Drawing for Law Enforcement class. The sessions offer progressive skill development based on the probability of the participant encountering that particular problem in real cases. Some of the skills taught in the classes are unique and offered at no other training session. They are based on original research. An example of the unique classes are as follows:

  • Interviewing the elderly for composites
  • Profiles: rotating the face from full to profile and back
  • Interviewing children for composites
  • Problem solving
  • Color composites
