Composite Drawing for Law Enforcement: Update 2, Certification

Objectives:
By the conclusion of this 40-hour training course, participants will have reviewed and been tested over all the necessary knowledge of a composite artist.

Class Features
Special Course Offering:
This class includes a video training set and workbook on cognitive interviewing, memory and signs of deception (physical, verbal and content statement analysis) $49 workbook/video series as well as a full day's training.
Review and testing over the following Testing for Drawing ability: (Review and drawing tests)
Capturing the essence of different racial groups.
Drawing male and female faces.
Shading
Accessory items: hats, glasses, mustaches and beards
Communicating visual information
Exactness of drawing.
General Knowledge (Review and written test)
History of forensic art
Terminology, ethics
Standard operating procedure
Other information
Interview Skills (Review and video taped test)
The cognitive interview
Signs of deception: verbal, physical and statement analysis
Memory

Class Fee:
Class fee is $695 and includes testing materials. California POST students are $650. Participants must bring their own supplies.
