Summary:
This 40-hour workshop is open to former students and new students by instructor's permission. Cost is $695. California POST students are $650. Objectives:
  • Upgrade skills with drawing of the face in profile and rotating the face.
  • Develop new skills on how to increase recognition factors by adding or drawing color composites.
  • Add additional skills of two and three dimensional facial reconstruction.
Class Features
Updated information
With the new hairstyles with partly shaved heads, it is often necessary to present two views of the face, showing the hair from a profile view as well as traditional views. Participants will create two-view composites.
Color composites
Participants will learn how to create color composites for high profile cases. This will include adding color to composites through colored pencil and creating watercolor/pastel pencil composites.
Two and three dimensional facial reconstruction
Learn how to create clay (three dimensional) and drawing (two dimensional) facial reconstructions from skulls.
